Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias (ULHT) is the largest private university in Lisbon. The name comes from the word Lusofonia, which names all the Portuguese speaking countries and their common linguistic and cultural background. It is a university where cultures and nationalities come together. The University assumes itself as the leading institution responsible for the development of these physical and cultural spacesof the Portuguese-speaking world of 250 million inhabitants believes that the best way one can become a better individual is through education.
ULHT is located on the eastern side of the Campo Grande park, at a walking distance from the Campo Grande metro station (yellow and green line).

SITILabs has been established in 2010. It is an R&D unit dedicated to both applied research (70%) as well as advanced research (30%) and is focused on three main R&D tracks:

Students from European Union State members or EEA countries are covered by European Health Insurance Card or Form E 111 or E 128 or the European Card of Health Security to get medical assistance at public health institutions and to benefit from the National Social Security System as any Portuguese citizen. In order to obtain this scheme, students should contact their own Social Security Office, to have respective form issued, before arriving in Portugal.
Students coming from outside the EU or EAA should make sure before arrival that they are property insured and have health insurance in your own country that cover the basic Portuguese requirement.
