SITILABS  in Infocom 2013

SITILABS has participated in Infocom 2013 both in the context of the 2nd IEEE International Workshop on Emerging Design Choices in Name-Oriented Networking (NOMEN 2013) as well as in the context of the technological demonstration tracks.

In NOMEN2013 Bruno Batista represented SITILABS with ICON - An Information Centric Architecture for Opportunistic Networks. ICON is an implementation of an information-centric framework for opportunistic networks (e.g. Delay Tolerant Networks) which has been developed in the context of the DTN-Amazon project.

In the technological demos track SITILABS has been represented within the context of the ULOOP project, a project which is scientifically coordinated by SITILABS. ULOOP provided a demonstration of the software developed for its trust framework. The consortium has been represented by partners UNIGE (University of Geneve, Carlos Ballester) and FON (FON Technology, Valentin Moreno).

SITILABS Partners with GeekGaps

SITILABS is partnering with GeekGaps.com (USA) to assist in the development of innovative technology based on crowdfunding.

With a proven product development history, GeekGaps makes it simple to get your next product funded, without incurring delays, debt, or dilution.  GeekGaps raises awareness about product's potential market, much like kickstarter.com, but GeekGaps investors benefit financially from the product's revenue as we straddle the gap above consumer markets and enable enterprise products to get funded too.
